What would a great energy pill, not necessary fat loss, that i can take before my workout?
Also, would it be wise to take it when using tren extreme?

Working out in the morning SUCKS for MOST people. Your CNS simply is not that active then. Have some coffee and try and workout in the afternoon.

I train at 6am weekday mornings, I read a study saying theres something like a 10-15% difference in your strength between training then and later in the day, but I too cant train later in the day. besides that, Ienjoy training first thing. Ive found two cups of black coffee mixed with protein/carbs does the trick. And on some mornings where Im particularly tired, i throw in a mars bar too. Gives you a quick burst of energy, not advisable if your trying to keep the gut at bay though!

You need to get up at least ONE hour before you train, get moving, take a hot shower, and do a longer warmup.

Good info right there. When I train at 8 or 9 am, I have to get up at least 2 hrs before hand and get a protein shake in me and get moving around the house. I also lengthen my warmup at the gym as well.
I tried 1 hr before and it wasnt enough.

I apologize for bumping an old topic. I went through this and simply adjusting my sleep cycle did wonders. I'm in the gym 6-7AM everyday despite it being winter break just because I go to sleep at 10pm everyday and wake up around 5:30 AM without fail.
Of course not everyone wants to sleep that early but I don't have any other time to be in the gym. I know it's obvious but getting the right amount of sleep helped me way more than caffeine ever did.

Eat something light. Granola bars or a slice (ONE slice) of leftover pizza. Put something in the engine before you rev it up. Afterwards, I'll eat a more filling breakfast.

Wow an hour before? I workout at 6 am wake up at 5 35. I take 15 g of BCAA's pre workout along with some coffee that I take along to the gym. Seems to work just fine, I wish I had outs everyday so I could go to the gym later in the day. Lifting in the morning is just better for my schedule.

I agree with SB I train in the morning all summer long and getting up at least an hour prior to training helps as does coffee. After the school year ends I go from training at 3 P.M. to 6-7 A.M. and it does take me a week or two to get up too speed after the time change.
I have a terrible time training early. Ive tried for YEARS to get to the gym on a regular basis before work, with no success mainly due to the fact that I dont focus nearly as well, and cant seem to muster the intensity early in the morning. I tend to focus more on the day ahead, such as work, family, errands, etc...
I always tend to workout after the days TRULY important activities are completed... but I suppose for those of you in school still, or what not could manipulate your schedule accordingly.
Then again, thats me.
