anyone use this device?its a plastic piece that snaps on the bar and fits right in your trap area,to me it works great takes some stress from the bar on my back

have no idea what your talking about. is there a site you can link? im 6'4 so anything to help take stress off my lower back would be nice.

They work OK until you have "real" weight on the bar, and at that point they are hard on the traps and can cause nerve problems for some people. A safety squat bar is a far better option IMO.

never used it, but have you tried riding the bar lower on your back to eliminate the shoulder/back stress you might be experienceing?

yes but im very tight throught the upper back/shoulder and chest. the extreme stretching hurts my pecs.
