I'm not one to nitpick over asymmetrical bodyparts or anything like that, but I've recently had 3 different people tell me that my one trap is bigger than the other. I figure it could be genetic but I was wondering if I may have made my bed on this one because of the way I have been doing deads. I only started deadlifting seriously about a year ago, and I have always used an alternating grip. The catch is that I always have the same hand facing the same direction (feels more natural that way). By that I mean my left palm is always facing away and my right is always facing me. It is my right trap that seems to be higher/bigger than the left. Anyone give any credence to this theory or is it just genetics? Any need to alternate hand direction from week to week when using an alternating grip?

use a hook grip or swith up for a while on the reverse grip.
