View Full Version : too tall for pendlay rows?

i'm finding it really hard to do the deload of the pendlay row onto the floor as I'm really tall.. would it be okay to do strict 45 degree rows instead?

cool.. should i still pause at the bottom? (like, deload 'in the air') ?

I don't know how tall you are but, if it is a real problem reaching the ground and you still want the deload effect you can do them in a power rack with the pins set however low they need to be or you can rest the plates on a couple of blocks or aerobic steps.

damn, never thought of that!

i'm guilty of sloppy form with bb rows so I'd rather do pendlays as a stricter movement.. I'll do what you suggested

I'm not that tall actually, just 6' but it still is a problem.. I might just be inflexible
