Yes... that is not a typo... lunges.

He has a vid of doing a couple reps with 585 too.

Impressive weight... but dude is begging for a catastrophe

I was more impressed how he was walking around with 500lbs on his back like he was taking a Sunday stroll.

the incredible bulk

He probably won't have knees for long. Props though, that's huge weight to lunge.

Lunges destroy my knees with even very light weights, I just found out.

good lord that's insane, in all senses. Wonder what his quads look like?

Agreed. He walked that out like it was a warm up set.

Ok I keep watching this and... something seems off.

I have never had 585lbs on my back or on anything... but wouldn't a commercial gym barbell give a little more than it is giving? And on the first "mess up" rep... I am sorry I have a hard time believing someone could stumble with 585lbs and not get crushed... especially when it looks like it is 2.5x body weight.

I found it. One of the plates is a black 10lb bumper plate. Look closely in the beginning. But still, that is a hell of a weight to lunge.

Anyone see that dude jump out of the leg extension machine as he was going by? Pretty funny, I wouldn't want that weight to fall on me either...

was that a little kid running around on the 585 vid in front of the camera? :D

not what you want under your feet with that kind of weight on your back.

I'm skeptical. It just looked too easy.
